Baxter Thompson Ltd operates under the trading name "Baxter Thompson Associates"("us", "we", or "our") and provides  http://www.strategicdigitalbusinesspartner.com , https://www.strategicdigitalbusinesspartner.com and the learning management system https://academy.baxterthompson.com (the "Platform").

By using the platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:


Online Subscription

 If you disagree with the Terms and Conditions, please do not complete payment on our paid platform and/or stop using the platform.

You will be required to fill out some registration information in order to confirm your place on the Course. You will be required to submit your payment details for courses that are not offered free of charge. Payment for your course will be taken through Credit or Debit card. For Credit and Debit card payments we use a secure third-party solution, Stripe.

For all Free Course Trials and SDBP® Starter Pack subscriptions, you will only have access to the course's video and application notes only. To gain access to more, you will have to upgrade.

For paid courses, once you have clicked to confirm the booking and payment for the Course have cleared we will send you a confirmation email to confirm your place on the Course at which point a binding contract between you and us will have been formed. For free trial access to our course subscriptions, you will be subject to these Terms and Conditions only.

The duration of the course's subscription starts on the date on which we send login details and passwords confirmation for accessing the course(s) or successful automatic enrolment and expires on the date mentioned here: https://academy.baxterthompson.com/myaccount/subscriptions 

Free Course Trial access to that subscription will be revoked once the free trial period has expired. To gain continued access you need to purchase a subscription. We will not be obligated to commence or continue the provision of the online course subscription if you fail to complete the online course within the subscription period or if  the free trial period for that subscription has expired.


Cancellations

We are confident that you will be highly satisfied with our online training. Do make sure you read the detailed programme information before you make your purchase.

You’ll need to email us at [email protected] to cancel your purchase. Normally no refunds can be given after 15 days.


Login Details

You understand and agree that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Login Details and agree not to provide them to any other person. You specifically agree that you are responsible for any activities that occur under your account and you will not create more than one account per person.

Access to the online training portal is controlled by users with unique account details. These take the form of a username, password, and where necessary, Two Factor Authentication key. Your IP Address details are recorded and may be locked as a security precaution should the number of failed access attempts exceeds a prescribed number or we detect duplicate accounts.

You must keep your username and password confidential and must not share them with anyone else. We may disable any account at any time if we believe that you have failed to comply with these conditions of use. Please note that sharing account details is an offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.

You agree that Baxter Thompson Ltd is not responsible for any damages or losses resulting from any breach of security caused by your failure and/or the failure of other persons who obtain access through you to maintain the confidentiality of your Login Details. You agree to notify Baxter Thompson Ltd immediately if you suspect that your Login Details have been lost or stolen or that an unauthorised person has accessed the Service using your Login Details.

You are responsible for obtaining access to the website (including access to the Internet via an Internet Service Provider and any associated costs) and for maintaining your computer system and any other equipment required by you to access the website. Baxter Thompson Ltd makes no warranties regarding the access, speed, timeliness or availability of the Internet or network services.


Access To The Training Portal

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have sufficient and compatible hardware, software, telecommunications equipment and Internet service necessary for use of the training portal.

If you use the training portal, you agree to use at least the following minimum technology specification:

For Online Training:

  • PC or Laptop running at least Windows 7 or above, or alternatively a MAC computer; minimum specification of 128 MB (256MB recommended) RAM and a minimum of a 500MHz Processor.
  • Minimum Screen Display Size of 15” (17” widescreen or above recommended).
  • Headphones or speakers connected to your computer – to listen to video tutorials.
  • A Web Browser (Chrome is recommended) with Adobe Flash Player installed. (Flash Player 10 recommended).
  • A webcam and a microphone.
  • A reliable Internet connection of at least 1 Mbps – to view video tutorials.


Intellectual Property Rights

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and of the material published on it unless otherwise stated. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

For people who have bought online training courses that include live coaching, exams and access to our forums, the following terms apply: You may print off one copy and you may download extracts of any page(s) from our site for your personal reference and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to material posted on our site.

You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.

Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of material on our site must always be acknowledged.

You must not use any part of the materials on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us. You agree not to record (audio or video) a course or any part of a course using any recording device.

If you print off, copy or download any part of our site in breach of these terms of use, your right to use our site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

Commentaries and other materials posted on our site are provided solely for the purpose of providing information about Baxter Thompson Ltd. and its products and services. For Contributions made by you in the Forum, please see our privacy policy.

Whilst we have taken reasonable care in the preparation of the contents of our site, our site and all its contents are provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information contained on our site.
